Superb company with this Missoula community of inspiring women - thank you for your high energy, fabulous photos and support!! Would you believe a pair of red hot patent leather stilettos actually fits quite nicely with a pair of red ants pants!?! Thank you Lisa!

Darcy Houseparty, Missoula, MT

Frigid temperatures greeted us at the Chenoweth abode - downtown Missoula. Huge thanks to Bobby Chenoweth & Darcy of course - a fantastic space and community!! Thanks for the fine feast, warm beds and great support!! Send us photos & stories of those pants!!

Missoula... snow!

Roadshow Cast morning report.
  • Airstream: warmer, cozier & wintry from night's snowfall
  • Pickup: still a beast
  • Nellie: comfortably settling into life on the open road but not so happy about getting kicked out of the front seat
  • Emily: trying to rehydrate/recover after Moose Drool sponsorship & late-night call that felt like a minute and lasted a grand two hours - just right.
  • Sarah: wishing she could press pause and catch up with extraneous demands but REALLY looking forward to tonight's party

Big Sky Brewery BONAFIDE Roadshow SPONSOR

Shout out to Trinda, Spencer & the rest of the Big Sky Brewery crew!! We will now be serving Moose Drool (brown ale, malty with just enough hops to keep it from being too sweet) at ALL roadshow functions! Yahooo!!! FOURTEEN Big Sky Brewery employees will be sporting the red ants pants - ELEVEN of those MEN. Real men wear women's pants indeed!!

Stay tuned for the January photoshoot... after the crew breaks in their pants & we've exhausted our December beer run. Thanks again to Big Sky - we're looking forward to many seasons of Moose Drool-fueled events.

Thursday evening ended with a ruckus at Charlie's - with hundreds of black & white photo portraits on the walls as witness, we set our allegiance to Big Sky Brewery in stone & threw back plenty of Moose Drool, Powderhound, & Big Sky IPA. Yum!

And we're off!

...like a herd of turtles. With a near-miss (cute, gummy old bird veering into our lane from his obviously wicked high-powered wheelchair) on the way out of town we happily hit the road... Sugarland blasting from the stereo (Em is slowly but surely coming around to country music!), a few errands in Bozeman & a coffee refuel brought the road to Missoula unraveling ahead. 32 mph on the uphill, the caravan pushed forth into the sunset before comfortably settling into lot C-4 at the KOA Campground on Reserve. Temperatures falling just below freezing, we slept soundly to the rocking hull of the trailer - and Nellie's snores.

Ants on the Airstream!

Thanks to White Sulphur Springs local & dear friend John Hanson the '64 Airstream Land Yacht (our home away from home during the roadshow & yet to be properly named) overnighted in the heated shop... just a'warming up to ready for the red ant decals. Hoorah! With marching ants wrapped around all sides, bright curtains gracing each window, & Nellie the dog peeking out from the piles of quilts - we're about to be on our way.
